The village is known above all for the notable plateau under which it nestles it and from which it takes its name. However, before climbing to the Giara it is opportune to make a quick trip around the old centre, among whose antique houses one finds the parish church of S.Teresa, with beautiful XVI cent wooden Gothic objects and, in the interior, a polyptych, of Gothic and Renaissance elements. On the left, in the direction of Nuragus, one can turn up the asphalted road to the Giara di Gesturi. Passing one of the refreshment huts, realised here as along the access to other nearby centres, one arrives at its eastern edge, where a series of dirt roads have been opened. There roads criss-cross the Giara, and allow the flow of visitors to visit it, we ask the visitors to park their cars on the edge of the plateau and then either walk or use the mountain bikes which are available. In this way, visitors will not alter the environment and will appreciate it. |

Towards Cagliari If from Senorbì you decide to take state road 128 in the direction of Monastir, you can also make side trip sto Ussana and Villasor, farming towns with ancient traditions and whose countryside has rich archaeological and historical heritage. Not to be missed is San Sperate, a charming museum-town famous for its murales and stone sculptures, and its lively artistic and cultural life, it is also well-known for its excellent peaches. Back on SS 130, we can turn onto SP 3, to reach Villaspeciosa, Decimoputzu and Vallermosa, crossed by the Riu Mannu creating rich soil for excellent fruit and vegetable products. |

Subject matter of general appearance is that of bread.
