If from Senorbì you decide to take state road 128 in the direction of Monastir, you can also make side trip sto Ussana and Villasor, farming towns with ancient traditions and whose countryside has rich archaeological and historical heritage. Not to be missed is San Sperate, a charming museum-town famous for its murales and stone sculptures, and its lively artistic and cultural life, it is also well-known for its excellent peaches. Back on SS 130, we can turn onto SP 3, to reach Villaspeciosa, Decimoputzu and Vallermosa, crossed by the Riu Mannu creating rich soil for excellent fruit and vegetable products.

If you are interested in the town and in its monuments, you can first visit the ancient stronghold of Castello, fortified by the Pisan in 1258 and later furnished with the towers of St Pancras, and of the Elephant. Founded by the Phoenicians in the 8th century B.C. Cagliari was a landing  place along the Mediterranean routes. For centuries it was dominated by different conquerors, among them Carthaginians, Romans, Vandalis, Byzantines,  Pisans , Spaniards. In the National archaeological Museum a rich collection of archaeological material from Sardinia is arranged to illustrate the history and pre-history of the town.

The Regional Park Molentargius Saline, is a regional park in Sardinia. And 'one of the most important wetlands in Sardinia. The pond Molentargius is recognized in the official lists of wetlands to be protection, is classified Special Protection Area of the European Union and humid area of international importance under the Ramsar Convention. The system of ponds and Molentargius Quartu is included within the underground of Cagliari, immediately adjacent to urban settlements. And 'bordered on the north by the City of Quartu and iinsediamenti commercial and industrial belt that form the link between Cagliari el'Hinterland, west and south by some quarters of Cagliari, San Benedetto, Genneruxi, La Palma, District of the Sun, Poetto , south-eastern coastal strip from Poetto, east of the Red Margin, suburb of Quartu Sant'Elena. It can be reached easily from all directions through the network of highways that innerva the metropolitan area.

While we can not go into details, we would like to specify that each region of Sardinia has a particular type of bread, and this enriches the already vast culinary context of Sardinia.
